Mr Robert E. Tetreault

Mr. Robert E. Tetreault, age 95, of the RI Veterans Home, 480 Metacom Avenue, Bristol, died Friday, November 26, 2010 at the home. He was the husband of the late Jeanette (Bush) Tetreault. Born in Penacook, New Hampshire, he was a son of the late Francis X. and Medora G. (Doyon) Tetreault. Mr. Tetreault was a communicant of St. Mary's Church, Bristol, where he served as a trustee of the parish for 29 years and was a member of their St. Vincent de Paul Society. He attended the Providence Trade School where he learned the printing trade. He owned a printing business in Providence for several years before WWII. Mr. Tetreault was an Sergeant in the Army Air Corps in WWII and served with the 1377th Army Air Force Base Unit in the Pacific Theatre in the Philippine Islands. He was an honorary life member of the Rhode Island Post Card Club and a member of the East Providence Historical Society. Prior to his retirement in 1977 he worked for Universal Press for 31 years in East Providence. He is survived by a brother-in-law, Robert S. Bush and a sister-in-law, Mary Frances Bush of Bristol and nieces, Shirley A. Beers of Hanover, MA, Elaine J. Butti of Skowhegan, Maine, Barbara Susan Bush of New York State and Kathleen Marabello of Warren. In addition to his wife and parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Marcel Tetreault and a sister, Pauline Tucker. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Mary's Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Daggett Avenue, Pawtucket. Visiting hours, Monday, November 29, 2010 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
