Mr Robert W. Dallaire

Mr. Robert W. Dallaire, age 59, of 12 Mount Avenue, Bristol, died Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home, Bristol, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Fall River, MA., and a lifelong resident of Bristol and Warren, he was a son of the late Amedee L. 'Medee' and Anna L. (Abate) Dallaire. Bobby worked for 19 years as a Galley Worker at the Newport Naval Base in Newport for the James L. Maher Center, retiring in 2010. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. He was an avid swimmer and weight lifter for the Special Olympics in Rhode Island, was a huge fan of Elvis Presley and loved spending time watching WWF Wrestling. He is survived by two brothers, Amedee L. Dallaire, Jr. and his wife, Elizabeth of Dunedin, FL, Andrew R. Dallaire of Cornelius, NC, two sisters, Jeanne L. Turner and her husband, William, Sr., of Bristol and Carol A. Russell and her husband, Glenn of Portsmouth, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a great great niece and great great nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Dallaire. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery, Vernon Street, Warren. Visiting hours will be Monday, June 24, 2013 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
