Mr Robert S. Coelho

Robert S. Coelho November 25, 1935 - May 7, 2012 Loved Colt State Park Mr. Robert S. Coelho, age 76 of 700 Metacom Avenue, Warren, died unexpectedly at his home Monday evening beside his loving family. He was the husband of Claudette (Levesque) Coelho, his loving and devoted wife of 54 years. Born and raised in Bristol, a son of the late John S. and Mary (Pacheco) Coelho. He lived in Bristol for 66 years and was a well respected building contractor for 47 years before retiring in 2002. Bob was a loving and respected husband, father and grandfather. Bob enjoyed spending time with his sons and grandchildren especially watching baseball and football games being an avid Red Sox and NE Patriot Fan, he enjoyed good food and especially his well known love for chocolate. He loved taking walks with friends down at Colt State Park and even just finding a bench to sit and talk and enjoy the day go by there. His family finds theirs hearts so heavy with his passing and he will be missed so by everyone that loved him, always and forever. In addition to wife, he is survived by three sons Robert and Karen Coelho of Warren, Richard and Audrey Coelho of Bristol and Michael P. Coelho of Warren, four grandchildren, Jillian Coelho Haugen of Chicago, Robert A. Coelho of Newport, Corey A. Coelho of Bristol and Victoria Alexander of Warren, three great grandsons, Jack, Jacob and Jeff Haugen of Chicago, five sisters, June Votau of Nevada, Beverly Fontes of Warren, Mary Akervich of Warren, Martha Peters of Bristol, and Donna Fernandes of Swansea, MA, two brothers, James Coelho of Denver, CO and Kenneth Coelho of Cranston. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, John and Joseph Coelho and three sisters, Bernadette Ackerley, Priscilla Jacobs and Barbara Silvia. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol.
