Mr Michael J. D'Alessio

Mr. Michael J. D'Alessio, age 85, of 63 Hopeworth Avenue, Bristol, died Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center, Providence, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of late Evelyn B. (Barboza) D'Alessio. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, he was a son of the late Pasquale and Mary (Tammaro) D'Alessio. He was the plant manager for the former Carol Cable Company in Warren for 35 years, retiring in 1989. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. He is survived by two daughters, Rosemarie Galimberti and her husband Norman of Laconia, NH and Michelle M. Formisano and her husband, Frank of Taunton, MA, elevan grandchildren, Michael, Dennis and Shayna Galimberti, Ginamarie, Francesco, Antonio, Michilina, Gabriele, Rosa, Nunzio and Sofia Formisano and three great grandchildren, Brandon and Emilia Galimberti and Daniel Carvalho. In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph D'Alessio and Domenic J. D'Alessio, Sr. and a sister, Mary Sylvia. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Friday, August 3, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
