Mr. Louis M. DaSilva, age 50 of 113 Union Street, Bristol, died Sunday, July 12, 2015 in Rhode Island Hospital, Providence, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Fayal, the Azores, and a lifelong Bristol resident, he was the son of Maria C. (Moitoso) DaSilva of Bristol and the late Luis G. DaSilva. Louis was a self- employed Painter for a number of years. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church and loved spending time playing the guitar. He is survived in addition to his mother, by a daughter, Krystle C. DaSilva of Providence, a sister, Elizabeth Tattrie (William) of Bristol, a niece, Megan Tattrie and two nephews, Colin and Nathan Tattrie. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Friday, July 17, 2015 from 4:00-7:00 PM.
