Mr Joseph G. Pinheiro

Mr. Joseph G. Pinheiro, Jr., age 83 of 63 Fales Road, Bristol, died Wednesday, February 1, 2012 at the Silver Creek Nursing Home, Bristol surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Evelyn B. (Borges) Pinheiro, his wife of 60 years. Born in Providence, and a lifelong resident of Bristol, he was a son of the late Joseph G. and Rose (Sylvia) Pinheiro. He served in the USMarine Corps during the Korean Conflict and was a member of the 'Chosin Few'. He was an electrician for the Walco Electric Company of Providence for 35 years, retiring a number of years ago. Following his retirement he worked for Teledine Rodney in New Bedford for several years. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Kevin J. Pinheiro of Bristol and Alan J. Pinheiro of Fitzwilliams, New Hampshire. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will be private. Visiting hours, Friday, February 3, 2012 from 5:00-8:00 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol.
