Mr. Joseph F. Francis, age 48, of Child Street, Warren, died Monday, May 12, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Care Center, Providence surround by his loving family. He was the husband of Jill Cheetham. Born in Providence, RI a son of the late Frank and Antonetta (Murgo) Francis. Joseph was a self-employed carpenter. He was a communicant of St. Mary Of The Bay Church, Warren. He loved traveling, outdoors, camping and being on the water, he also was a big family man. Besides his wife, he is survived by his two daughters, Briana Francis and Carina Francis both of Warren, two brothers, Daniel F. Francis of Warren, Frank Francis, Jr., of Bristol, four sisters, Joan E. Francis of Bristol, Ann Marie Roy of Barrington, Christine E. McGovern of Warren and Jane L. Francis of Barrington. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers William J. Francis and Gaetano F. Francis. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Of The Bay Church, 645 Main Street, Warren. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Wednesday from 4:00-8:00 PM.
