Mr Jose Furtado Medeiros

Mr. Jose F. Medeiros, age 54 of Shaws Lane, Bristol, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his home. Born in St. Michaels, Azores, a son of Esmeria (Furtado) Bolota of Bristol and the late Joao Bolota. A resident of Bristol since 1971, he was a baker for Dunkin Donuts for over 30 years, retiring several years ago due to illness. He is survived in addition to his mother by two daughters, Crystal R. Medeiros and Jennifer L. Medeiros, both of Bristol, two grandchildren, Anna L. Medeiros and Xoey H. Traffica and brother and sisters; Lucy Clark, Johnny Medeiros, Casilda Bolota and Dorothy Jackson, all of Bristol. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Durval R. Medeiros. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 11:00 AM with a Graveside Service at 12:00 Noon in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.
