Mr James E. Crowell

Jamie E. Crowell of High Street, died suddenly on Wednesday, Aug 25, 2010. A Bristol resident for 31 years, he was 47 years old. Born in Pawtucket, Jamie was the son of Robert and Dianne Crowell of Bristol. A graduate of St Andrews School in Barrington, Jamie received his degree from Bristol Community College in 1988 and recently received a Veterinary Assistant Certificate from Penn-Foster. His easy smile and light-hearted manner will be remembered by many from his years as the assistant merchandising manager of CVS in Bristol. Previously he had worked at Buffingtons Pharmacy in downtown Bristol. Jamie loved animals. He leaves behind two beloved cats, Misty and Rocky. He was also an avid cyclist and loved playing volleyball for the Bristol Volleyball League. He was a master Sudoku player and very active with the New Hope Church in Swansea, MA. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Besides his parents, he is survived by two brothers, Jonathan of Bristol and Robert “Bo” Jr of North Hollywood, California, a sister Marcia Tomaselli of Columbia, MD and two nephews, David H. Crowell of Bristol and Eric M. Crowell of Florida. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours to celebrate Jamie's life on Saturday, September 4 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Services and burial will be private.
