Mr. Ilario R. “Larry” Marino, age 87 of 111 Mulberry Road, Bristol, died peacefully Wednesday, August 19, 2015 at the Silver Creek Manor surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Constance S. “Connie” (Achilli) Marino, his wife of 60 years. Born and a lifelong resident of Bristol, he was the son of the late Joseph and Christina (Vaccaro) Marino. Ilario served in the US Army during WWII part of the Army of Occupation of Japan, serving in Korea. He was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol, Class of 1946. He was a machine operator for the Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp in both of their Bristol and Portsmouth plants for 42 years. For 20 years Larry along with his wife, Connie delivered the Providence Journal Newspaper. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. He will be remembered as hard working, always enjoying working around his home, gardens and pool and an honorable and nice guy, never a bad word for anyone. Devoted to his family, he loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, family and his many friends. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Larry P. Marino (Frances) of Ho Ho Kus, NJ, Kenneth Marino (Caroline) and Scott D. Marino (Amy), both of Bristol and seven grandchildren, Michael, Steven, Ethan, Emily, and Cristina Marino, Pierce and Kevin McCaffrey. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Marino and a sister, Lucy Principe. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Monday, August 24, 2015 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State St., or the Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O.
