Mr. Ignatio J. “Buzzy” Bisbano, age 82 of Hampden Drive, Bristol, died on his birthday, Saturday, April 2, 2016 at Tufts Medical Center, Boston. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, he was a son of the late Joseph O. Bisbano and the late Carmella A. (Abenante) Quick. Ignatio served in the US Army in France following Korean War. He was a wire worker for first the US Rubber Company and then Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp in both of the Bristol and Portsmouth Plants for over 36 years, retiring in 1985. A communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol, he enjoyed spending time with his family and going to gun shows with friends. He is survived by two daughters, Deborah J. Alves of Bristol, Melissa A. Guckin (Jeffrey) of Pawtucket, three grandchildren; Erica Szostek (Rob) of Narragansett, Jessica L. Henley (John Bowen) of Bristol and Eli Guckin of Pawtucket and his great grandson and “Little Guy”, Noah J. Vaccaro. Also survived by three brothers; Ralph Bisbano of Warren, Ronald Bisbano in Massachusetts and Bernard E. Quick of Warren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Bisbano. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Friday, April 8, 2016 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,141 State Street, Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
