Mr. Frank C. 'Scully' Scolaro, age 76 of 150 Franklin Street, Bristol, died Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at his home. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Philip and Lucy P. (Castigliego) Scolaro. Frank served in the US Navy serving aboard the USS Arcadia during the Vietnam Era. He worked as a machine operator for the Kaiser Aluminum and Chemical Corp in their former Bristol and Portsmouth plants for 22 year, retiring in 1993. He had previously worked for the former Bristol Manufacturing Company. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol, and a member of the Bristol County Lodge of Elks. He was a avid Motorcycle rider and enthusiast. He is survived by a sister, Anna Medeiros (Richard) of Jamestown, nephews, Raymond, Jr. and Philip Barlow, and nieces, LuAnn Pratas and Lisa Medeiros. He was brother of the late Angelina 'Angie' Barlow (Raymond). Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
