Mr. Francis R. 'Frank' Dwyer, age 77, of 6 Highland Road, Bristol, died Friday, May 6, 2014 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the husband of Mary Lou (Coyne) Dwyer his wife of 53 years. Born and raised in Providence, he was the son of the late John J. and Ellen B. (Hanley) Dwyer. Frank served as Staff Sergeant in the US Air Force at the end of the Korean Conflict in the Philippines and the Far East. He was a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, Providence, Class of 1954 and he received his Bachelor Degree in Accounting from Bryant College in 1962. He was an accountant and a partner in American Equipment and Fabricating Company in East Providence for over 20 years. He was a communicant of St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol and a member of the Bristol County Lodge of Elks, the AmVet's in Bristol and a member and past officer of the Bristol Highland Improvement Association for many years. In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Paula J. Parker (John) of Milford, NH, Peter J. Dwyer (Doreen) and Edward F. Dwyer, all of Bristol and M.B. Dwyer of Riverside, three grandchildren, Peter J. Dwyer, Jr., Delaney Rose and Brennan Elizabeth Parker, two sisters, Margaret Dwyer of North Providence and Ellen Gange of Warwick. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Patrick J. Dwyer, seven brothers and sisters, Edward P., Johanna, John J., William and Thomas Dwyer, Anne Wildenhain and Mary Kelly. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, May 10, 2014 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Friday, May 9, 2014 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
