Mr. Francis A. Croteau

Mr. Francis A. 'Frank'Croteau, age 73, of Court Street, Bristol, died Wednesday, September 14, 2011 at the Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the husband of Florence (Sousa)Croteau his wife of 15 years. Born in Fall River, MA Frank was the son of the late Anthony and Bertha (Blanchet)Croteau. Frank was a self taught carpenter for many years working for the Can Corp in Bristol. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, cooking, playing cards and keno and spending time with his wife and grandson. Besides his wife he is survived by his children, Dawn Woodstead, Doreen Calvano, Dennis Croteau, Jason Fortin and Cynthia Sousa, grandchildren, Myles, Kyle, Sydney, Jeffrey, Robert and Travis, his brothers and sisters, Theresa Croteau, Lawrence Croteau, Georgette Jesaum, Gertrude Medeiros, Anna Violet, Anitta Menard, RitaCopley, Raymond Croteau, Daniel Croteau, Madeline Freitas, Phyllis Lauzon and many extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother David Croteau. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass Saturday, September 24, 2011 at 10:00 AMin St. Elizabeth's Church 577 Wood Street, Bristol.
