Felix J. Langello, age 84, of E Street, Bristol, died Monday, July 11, 2011 at his daughter's home in Rehoboth, MA. He was the husband of the late Emily (Ferreira) Langello. Born in Warren, RI he was the son of the late John J. and Adeline (Boeniger) Langello. Felix worked for the Raytheon Corporation in Portsmouth as a tester before retiring in 1989, after retiring he worked for the Citizens Bank as a mail carrier. Felix was a communicant of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and a founder and member of the Devotion to Divine Mercy at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy Seabees in Davisville, RI. He was a former member of the Cup Defenders Association and loved Bowling in the senior league at Dudeks Bowling Alley in Warren and loved to Quahog. He will be sadly missed by his children Felix J. Langello, Jr., of Bristol, Donna Lee Langello of Ashaway, Marsha Ann Langello of Rehoboth, MA, Paula Marie Ramos of Portsmouth, Rita Jean Nunes of Warren and Rosemary Langello of New Port Richie, FL. His grandchildren Michael J. Motta, Felix J. Langello, III., Danielle Stroessner, Jeffrey W. Motta, Jennifer Kugler, Angela B. Bergen, Jesse Benoit, Curtis J. Ramos, Andrew T. Carlson, Craig M. Ramos, Kassie L. Benoit and Luke Benoit. Twelve great grandchildren. A brother John J. Langello, Jr., of Warren and a sister Arlene Benevides of Bristol. Besides his wife and parents he was preceded in death by two grandchildren Richard DeLima and Amiee L. Carlson, and a sister Rita Rishe. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood St., Bristol, Saturday, July 16th at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St. Visiting hours Friday from 4:00-8:00 pm.
