Mr Elzar Byron Holt

Elzar Byron Holt, age 82, of Broad Common Road, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the Miriam Hospital, Providence He was the husband of the late Lydia E. (Santos) Holt. Born in Prospect, TN, He was one of 10 children of the late Hubert Henry and Velma Lee (Jackson) Holt Elzar retired from the US Navy after 26 years with the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He is survived by his two sons Allen B. (Robin) Holt of Swansea, MA and Kenneth J. (Gina) Holt of Bristol. Five grandchildren Joshua, Jonathan, Sarah, Jacob and Emma Holt. Besides his wife he was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services and burial were private. Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
