Mr Domenic J. Parisi

Mr. Domenic J. Parisi, age 66 of 17 Pearse Avenue, Bristol, died Monday, June 18, 2012 at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, Warren, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Eva A. (Larochelle) Parisi, his wife of 23 years. Born in Warren and a lifelong resident of Bristol, he was a son of the late Aniello and Irene (Boyer) Parisi. Dom was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1963 and had served in theUS Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a warehouse worker for the Sysco Food Distribution Company in Norton, MA for 13 years, retiring in 2010 and had previously worked for many years for the Kaiser Aluminum Corps, formerly in Portsmouth. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol and a life member of the Cup Defenders Association. An avid gardener, he loved spending time in his yard working in his gardens. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Robin L. Zasowski and her husband Stephen of Bristol, a step-son, H. Robert Conrad of Riverside, four grandchildren, Joshua A., Victoria R., Jacob N. and Justin E. Zasowski and two step grandchildren, Brooke C. and Matthew R. Conrad, a brother, Paul Parisi and his wife Ann Marie of Riverside. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Aniello Parisi, Jr., a niece, Dawn Parisi and a nephew, Scott Parisi. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Friday, June 22, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 PM.
