Mr Byron P. Graff

Byron P. Graff, Jr., age 89, of Hillside Avenue, East Providence, died Wednesday, December 26, 2012, at Orchard View Manor, East Providence. He was the husband of Dolores (Rodrigues) Graff. Born in Hartford, CT, he was a son of the late Byron P. and Catherine (Barry) Graff. He also resided in Brighton, MA before moving to East Providence 26 years ago. He was an Accountant for Bendix for 10 years and for Sealtest Ice Cream. He graduated from Boston College and he was a LTjg in the US Navy serving in WWII and Korea. Byron loved to read, do crossword puzzles, was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, Boston Bruins and the Boston Celtics. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Byron P. Graff, III of North Easton, MA, Richard Graff of Franklin, MA and a daughter, Janet Cadogan of Quincy, MA, six grandchildren and a great grandson. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeth's Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be Wednesday morning only from 9:00-10:00 AM.
