Mr. Adelino Correia, age 66 of 36 Sherman Avenue, Bristol, died Thursday, Sept. 30 at his home. He was the husband of Lilliana (Costa) Correia, his wife of 40 years. Born in St. Michael, Azores he was son of the late Alfredo and Constantina (Couto) Correia. A resident of Bristol for over 40 years. He had served for 3 years in the Portuguese Air Force. A boat builder, he owned and operated Ocean Bird, Inc. on Tupelo Street in Bristol for 15 years. Adelino was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church, Bristol. In addition his wife, he is survived by three sons, Victor Correia of Bristol, Stephen Correia of Newport and Cliff and his wife Paula Correia, of Bristol, three grandchildren, Cynthia, Carissa and Carson Correia and a sister, Santo Cristo Pereira all of Bristol. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Dean Correia. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday, Oct. 6 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Tuesday, Oct. 5, from 5:00-7:00 PM.
