Miss Lydia M. Cabral

Miss Lydia M. Cabral, age 89 of Bay View Avenue, Bristol, died Monday, January 7, 2019. Born in Bristol and a lifelong resident, she was a daughter of the late Manuel and Sadie (Mello) Cabral. A graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1947, Bristol. She was employed by the former New England Telephone Co., now Verizon for 41 years, retiring in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church, Bristol. She is survived by sisters; Raquel Cabral of Bristol, Louise McNulty (Jack) of Newport and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings; Robert Cabral, Raymond Cabral (Mary), Martha Cabral and Dolores Malloy (Joseph). Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Monday, January 14, 2019 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visitation will be Monday morning only from 9:00-10:00 AM.
