Michael S. Kriegel, 73, of Central Falls, RI, formerly of Barrington, RI, passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Hope Health Hospice in Providence ,RI following a long health decline.

He was born in Providence, RI on January 6, 1953, the son of the late Robert Kriegel and the late Angelina (Tani) Kriegel. He was raised and educated in his native community and earned a bachelor of arts degree from Rhode Island College.

He was employed as a government prison guard at the Adult Correctional Institute in Cranston, RI many years ago.

Michael leaves cousins and extended family members.

All services will be conducted privately with burial in Forest Chapel Cemetery, Barrington, RI.
