Michael James Jodoin

October 23, 1973 — June 19, 2024

Michael J. Jodoin, 50, of Johnston, passed away unexpectedly in Connecticut. He was the longtime companion of Tracy Dorgan for many years before his passing. Born in Putnam, CT, he was the son of Carol Ann (Cook) Landry (Richard) and Thomas Lee Jodoin (Susan). Mike graduated from Bristol High School in 1991. A true patriot, he had a deep-seated love for his country and a profound respect for our brave veterans and first responders. He demonstrated that love and respect alongside his cousin, Pete Moran, by designing and building several award-winning patriotic floats for the Bristol RI Fourth of July parade. Mike was the Owner/Operator of Sno Pros New England. He began his career in the restaurant business as manager of his family business Zips Diner in Killingly, Connecticut. He later mastered the art of stone masonry and examples of his beautiful work can be found throughout southern New England. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf with his son, brother and other family members and friends. His greatest joy, though, was spending time with his family as a life partner, son, dad, brother and mentor to all who knew him. He is survived by his soulmate and fianc: Tracy Dorgan; his children: Kayla Fortin (Josh), Austin Courtemanche (Aleesha Vancott), stepchildren Landon and Lainey Costello; his grandchildren: Liam Tetreault, Noah Fortin, Mila Fortin, Vivienne Courtemanche; his siblings: Brian Jodoin (Dana), Bethany Storz (Damian), Jillian Clarizio (Matt); and many extended family and friends.
