Maureen (Blackman) D'Alessio, 77, of Bristol, RI passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026, at Dawn Hill Home for Rehab and Healthcare in Bristol. She was the beloved wife of Pasquale Domenic D'Alessio to whom she was married in 1988.

Born in the United Kingdom on March 31, 2026, she was a daughter of the late Norman Henry Leonard Blackman and the late Olive (Spiers) Blackman. She was raised and educated in London.

She had a lifelong love for animals and was currently treasuring the time spent with her canine companion, "Nike".

Mrs. D'Alessio was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol.

Prior to her retirement 11 years ago, she worked for the United States Government as a TSA Agent at TF Green airport.

In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons: Jonathan Amaral of Fall River, MA and Andrew Amaral of Somerset, MA; her grandchildren and her siblings: Keith, Brenda, Val and Jackie.

Visitation has been respectfully omitted.

Relatives and friends are warmly invited to attend a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church, State Street, Bristol.

Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name and memory may be made to any local non-profit animal rescue organization.
