Mary P. Contente

Mrs. Mary P. (Vital) Contente, age 88, 6 Betsy Drive, Bristol formerly of Westwood Rd., died Sunday, April 8, 2007 at the Crestwood Nursing and Convalescent Home in Warren. She was the wife of the late Alfredo P. Contente. Born in Bristol, RI a daughter of the late Edwardo P. and Maria P. (Fialho) Vital. She worked as a Seamstress for the former Royal Robes formerly in Bristol. She was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church, Bristol. Survivors include a son, Ilidio “Leo” Contente and his wife Barbara of Bristol, four grandsons, Leo, Paul, Alfred and Steven Contente and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood St., Bristol, Wednesday at 8:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 775, Bristol, RI 02809.
