Marilyn F. Usher

Mrs. Marilyn F. (Flynn) Usher, age 63, of 54 Sherman Avenue, Bristol,died Sunday, February 08, 2009 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was theloving wife of Patrick Usher, her husband of 34 years. Born in Providence,and a lifelong resident of Bristol,she was the daughter of the late Thomas L. and Elizabeth (Shockroo) Flynn. Marilyn worked as a teacher for the Bristol/Warren Regional Schools as a first grade teacher at Reynolds School before retiring in 2005, she was a graduate of Rhode IslandCollege with a Masters in Education. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. In addition toher husband, she will be sadly missed by her children Rodney 'RJ'Sylvia, Patrick Usher, Jr. both of Bristol, Seth Usher and Emily Pacheco both of Riverside and three grandchildren, Rebecca, Patrick and Lucas, two brothers, Richard Flynn of Maricopa, AR, and Robert Flynn of Swansea, MA. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday, February 11, 2009at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope St, Bristol. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel School “Playground Fund”, 127 State St., Bristol, RI 02809.
