Marilyn Mclaughlin

Mrs. Marilyn (Moran) McLaughlin, age 60 of 70 Hillside Avenue, Tiverton, died peacefully Friday, October 19, 2012 at her home, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Richard McLaughlin. Born in Providence and raised in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Oliver and Laura (Gaspar) Moran. A resident of Tiverton for the past 12 years, she previously resided in West Warwick. A Registered Nurse, she was a graduate of the Fall River School of Nursing and was a nurse at the former St. Joseph's Hospital in Providence for a number of years. She was active also in home care and assisted living nursing. She was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church in Tiverton and involved in the fellowship life of her parish. She is survived by a sister, Lori O'Connell of Tiverton and a brother, Oliver 'Buster' Moran of Bristol, several nephews, nieces, great nephews and great nieces. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Peter O. Moran. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, October 27, 2012 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Theresa's Church, 265 Stafford Road, Tiverton.
