Marie J. Amaral

Marie (Cruz) Amaral, 96, passed away on January 18, 2018. She was the daughter of the late Joseph Cruz, Sr. and Gertrude (Barbosa) Cruz. She was the beloved wife of the late Joaquin "Jack" Amaral. Marie is survived by her children; Linda Nielsen and Paul Mello and his wife Ria, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, as well as one sister; Anne Pacheco. Marie was predeceased by her first husband, Augustine Mello and by her siblings; Beatrice Sousa, Joseph Cruz, Jr. and Margaret Sousa. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground Cemetery, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday morning only from 9:00-10:00 AM.
