Maria F. Rosa

Maria F. (Garcia) Rosa, 98, of Bristol passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday October 31, 2021. She was the wife of the late Jacinto Rosa. Born in Bristol, she was the daughter of the late Francisco F. and Maria (Ferreira) Garcia. Maria was a communicant of St. Elizabeths Church in Bristol. She enjoyed sewing. Her biggest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her Great Grandchildren. Maria is survived by her children: Maria C. Rosa, Joseph Rosa (Paula), Manuel Rosa, Sr. (Doreen); her grandchildren: Sherri Rosa, Melissa Rosa, Doreen Aubin, Manuel Rosa, Jr; her great grandchildren: Kaitlyn DeCosta, Kayli Rosa, Cassondra Rosa, Alexis Aubin, Zachary Aubin; and her sister: Alicia Nunes and Judith Rego. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Jacinto; her parents Francisco and Maria Garcia; her children: Jose and Louisa Rosa; her great grandchild David Aubin; and her brother Manuel Garcia. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Wednesday November 3, 2021 at 9:30 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol.
