Maria L. Pereira

Maria (Pascoal) Pereira, 76, passed away at home in Bristol on October 29, 2017. Born in San Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Jacinto Pascoal and Maria (Machado) Pascoal. Maria was the wife of the late Eduardo Pereira; they were married for 54 years. She worked for I Shalom Factory in Warren as a seamstress and participated in the Holy Ghost Society. Maria will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Maria is survived by her daughter; Zita Bolton and her husband Joseph, two grandsons; Joseph and Thomas Bolton, and two siblings; Artur Pascoal and Gloria Tavares Camara. Besides her husband and parents; Maria was also predeceased by five of her siblings; Manuel, Jose and Conceicao Pascoal and Alda Arruda. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 from 4:00 7:00 PM.
