Maria "Tillie" C. Medeiros

Maria C. "Tillie" Medeiros, 92, of Bristol passed away peacefully in Warren on Monday, May 13, 2024. She was the devoted wife of the late Manuel Medeiros for 64 years before his passing in 2017. Born on the island of Sao Miguel, Azores, Portugal, she was the oldest of 10 children born to Joseph and Alice (Sebastion) Bettencourt. Maria is survived by her siblings: John Bettencourt, Leanora Tavares, Myra Souza, Gabriel Bettencourt, Antonio Bettencourt; her many nieces and nephews, and many friends and acquaintances. She was pre-deceased by her beloved Manuel; her sons: Thomas and Michael Medeiros; her parents; and her siblings: Agnes Campos, Joseph Bettencourt, Alice Tavares, and James Bettencourt. A Visiting Hour will be held at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, RI on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 from 9:00 10:00 AM.
