Margaret B. Netto

Mrs. Margaret B. (Benavente) Netto, age 89, of 4949 Ravenswood Drive, San Antonio, TX, and formerly of 62 Cutler Street, Warren, died Friday, March 9, 2007 at the Mystic Park Health Care Center, San Antonio. She was the wife of the late Julio Netto. Born in San Antonio, TX, she was a daughter of the late Marciano and Juana (Tovar) Benavente. She was a resident of Warren from 1945 to 1985. She worked as a hand presser at the Dress Shop formerly on Cutler Street for 22 years, retiring in 1979. She was a former communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Church, Warren. She was an Private First Class in the Army Air Corps during WWII, where she met and later married her late husband, Julio. She is survived by her son, Julio L. Netto, and his wife Marcia, of El Cajon, CA., a brother, Fredico Benavente, three sisters, Isabel Mendoza, Otila Martinez and Evangelina Barrera, all of San Antonio. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three sisters, Rebecca Castorena, Rebecca and Benita Benaventeand a brother, Gregorio Benavente. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a Graveside service with Military Honors, Friday, March 16, 2007 at 11:30 AM in the Chapel of Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Wampanoag Trail, East Providence. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the San Antonio Hospice. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
