Manuel B. Rodrigues

Mr. Manuel B. Rodrigues, age 78, of Mt. Hope Avenue, Bristol, died Friday, December 17, 2010 at Silver Creek Manor Nursing Home, 7 Creek Lane, Bristol. He was the husband of the late Catherine (Fusco) Rodrigues. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he was a son of the late Antonio and Maria (Rezendes)Rodrigues. Manny was the head bartender and Maitre d' for the former Fore and Aft Restaurant in Warren for many years. He was also the sexton at the First Congregational Church of Bristol. He is survived by three daughters, Nancy Lomas of Woodstock, GA, Rosemarie Kaleski of Abington, MA and Jacqueline Judge of Albany, NY, a brother, Joseph Bento of Hawaii, a sister-in-law, Antoinette Fusco of Bristol, ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews along with his nephew and caregiver, Richard Andrade of Bristol. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate his life on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 11:00 AM in the First Congregational Church of Bristol, 281 High Street, Bristol. Burial will be private and visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914.
