Manuel Ferreira Garcia

Manuel F. Garcia, 66, passed away June 19, 2020 at his home with his loving wife of 29 years Gail (Ciociola) at his side Born in Fall River, MA, and a longtime resident of Bristol, he was the son of the late Manuel F. Garcia and Virginia (Ferreira) Garcia. Manuel was a graduate of Bristol High School Class of 1972. For many years, "Manny" served as a Master Millwright for Microfiber. Manny also Honorably served our Country in the Rhode Island Army National Guard for 6 years. Manny was an outdoorsman, taking great pleasure in snowmobiles, camping, jet skis, and especially loved spending time in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. In addition to his wife Gail, Manny leaves behind his dear pets Max and Midnight. Manny is also survived by his great friend, Karen Connors of North Conway, NH and his nieces, Shannon Kikendall, of Palm Bay, FL, Sandra Connors of Port Saint Lucie, FL, and Michelle Zuckerman of Barttlet, NH. His memory will also live on through his many friends and acquaintances. Special thanks to Alert Ambulance, Bristol Rescue Squad, Mannys Doctors, Nurses and Hospice workers for all they did for Manny. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday June 26, 2020 at 10AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street Bristol, Rhode island. Burial will follow St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Pall Bearers will be James Murray, Oliver Poissant, Michael Vivieros Sr., John Ciociola, William Ciociola, Mark Devine. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.
