Lucy P. Bruno

Mrs. Lucy P. (Pagnano) Bruno, age 90 of 39 High St., Bristol, died Monday, February 19, 2007 at the Grace Barker Nursing Center, 54 Barker Avenue, Warren. She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Bruno. Born in Bristol, and a lifelong resident, she wasa daughter of the late Pasqual and Frances (Lanzire) Pagnano. Lucy worked for the Town of Bristol, in the Town Hall, as the Probate Clerk for 23 years, before retiring in 1983.She was a graduate Colt Memorial High School, Class of 1935 and Johnson and Wales Business School. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church,a member of the Hope Circle # 70, Daughters of Isabella, a Charter Member of the Womens Democratic Club, all in Bristol and theA.A.R.P. She is survived by three sisters; Genevieve Marszalek of Bristol, Sylvia Hall of Hollywood, FL and Patricia Fojo of Trinidad, West Indies; two grandsons Bruce Scott Martin of Charlestown and Barry H. Martin of Bristol, two great granddaughters Amanda Lee and Megan Martin. Besides her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara A. Martin and a sister, Helen Pagnano. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol,Thursday, March 1, 2007 at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting Hours, Thursday morningat 9:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O.
