Lois Ann De Blois

June 16, 1935 — January 18, 2009

Lois A. de Blois, 73, of Hope Street, died peacefully Sunday, January 18th at Silver Creek Manor surrounded by family and friends. Formerly of Millbury, MA, she had been a resident of Bristol since 1970. A longtime medical office manager at the Bristol Medical Center and Barrington Medical Arts, she retired in 1996. She is survived by a sister, Virginia Pano, of Worcester, MA and a brother, Randolph Mogren Jr., of Millbury, MA, along with four children, Bryan de Blois of Lancaster, PA, Laurin Mancini of Tiverton, RI, Gary de Blois of Bristol, RI and Lisa Mogren of Marlborough, CT. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Mason, Asa, Toni, Benjamin and Jessy, sons in-law Ronald Mancini and Todd Mogren and longtime companion Duncan 'Mac' Sinclair MacDonald. As a beloved mother, she will be remembered for her wonderful cooking as well as providing constant support and loving encouragement in her children's activities. She sacrificed much, and she took great pride in their successes. She was a loyal friend to many and her support and fun-loving nature will be greatly missed. A celebration of Lois's life is planned for Saturday, January 31st at the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St, Bristol. Calling hours begin at 1:00 pm with a memorial service being held at 3:00 pm. All are invited to attend. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Hospice Inc., 1 Catamore Blvd, East Providence, RI 02914 or Amicable Congregational Church, 3804 Main Road, Tiverton, RI 02878.
