Linda J. Serbst

Linda J. (Lucaski) Serbst, 75, formerly of Bristol, passed away at her East Providence home on Monday, May 15, 2023. She was the loving wife of the late Frederick W. Serbst, Jr. for 32 years before his passing in 2013. Born in Philadelphia, PA, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Rita (Bain) Lucaski. Linda was a graduate of the Newport Hospital School of Nursing, and went on to proudly served in the U.S Army Nurse Corp. Following her honorable discharge, Linda worked for Dr. Paul Houston in Newport for many years, the Visiting Nurses of Newport County, and BCBS of RI until she retired. She is survived by her siblings: Louis J. Lucaski, Jr, Christine L. Henderson, Catherine Bobba (Michael); her adored nephews: Colby J. Silvia (Cassidy), Dr. Christopher M. Bobba (Sabina), Jacob L. Bobba (Alexi); and many extended family and friends. Linda was pre-deceased by her husband Fred and her parents. Burial will be private. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, August 14, 2023 at 10 AM at the Chapel by the Sea at Colt State Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital at stjude.org or to an animal rescue of your choice.
