McDevitt, age 69 of 0750 Narragansett Ave, Prudence Island, Died, March 27, 2008 at his home on Prudence Island he also lived in Lincoln He was the husband of Kathryn (Underwood) McDevitt Born in Pawtucket, RI a son Violet (Lupien) McDevitt and the late John McDevitt. He worked in sales for the former Zee Medical Co. He also served in the US Navy He was a member of the Heifer Project at Overlook Farm in Rutland, MA Prudence Improvement Association and Prudence Conservatries Besides his wife of 29 years and mother he is survived by three children from a previous marriage Melissa and Kimberly Cunningham and Leo McDevitt A granddaughter Aurora Cunningham Two brothers John McDevitt of Cumberland, Donald McDevitt, Ann Arbor, MI He was preceded in death by his father and a brother Charles McDevitt Relatives and friends are invited to attend Requiem Eucharist Service Wednesday, at 11:15 in St. Michaels Episcopal Church, Hope St., Bristol Visiting hours Tuesday from 1-4 PM in the Sansone Funeral Home 192 Wood St., Bristol In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Heifer Project C/O Overlook Farm, Rutland, MA or Prudence Improvement Association or Prudence Conservatries, Prudence, RI 02872
