Lauretta V. Sousa

Mrs. Lauretta V. Sousa, age 96, of Pleasant St., Bristol, died Friday, August 18, 2006 at the Silver Creek Manor in Bristol. She was born June 23, 1910 in Fall River MA the daughter of the late Louis and Clara (Gagnon) St. Laurent. She married Augustine P. Sousa on May 12, 1936 Mr. Sousa died on May 16, 1983. She is survived by two sons Augustine P. Sousa, Jr. and Jessie P. Sousa both of Bristol, a brother Henry St. Laurent of Fall River, MA. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters. Funeral Services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Tuesday at 8:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in St. Elizabeths Church, 577 Wood St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. Visiting Hours, Monday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Bristol Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 775, Bristol, RI 02809.
