Laura Pimental

Laura (Oliveira) Pimental, 62, of Bristol passed away suddenly at Newport Hospital on Thursday August 5, 2021. She spent the last 43 years of her life as the dedicated wife of Carlos A. Pimental. Born on the island of Terceira, Azores, Portugal, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Georgina (Vincent) Oliveira. Laura worked at Davols manufacturing for many years before pursuing her true passion, helping others. Laura worked as an in home caregiver for many years. She was known for her kind smile and willingness to help strangers. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. In addition to her husband Carlos, Laura also leaves behind her daughter: Sonia Pimental; her grandchildren: Nicholas Freitas and Aidan Freitas: her sisters: Filomena Texiera, Alzera Oliveira, and Helena Oliveira; her brother-in-law: Luis Pimental; her sister-in-law Connie Carreiro (Luis); and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Saturday August 14, 2021 at 11 AM at Radiant Christian Church, 895 Main Street, Warren, RI.
