Kathleen P. Miller

Mrs. Kathleen P. (Gama) Miller, age 59, of 1385 Main Road, Tiverton, died Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, 50 Maude Street, Providence. She was the wife of Don Miller, her husband of 12 years and the late William R. Bliss. Born in Providence and raised in Bristol, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Marine) Gama. She was an assembler at the Raytheon Corp in Portsmouth for 30 years, retiring in 2002. She was a graduate of Colt Memorial High School, Bristol, Class of 1965. She loved to cross-stitch and was an avid reader. In her younger days she participated in timed car racing. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two stepsons, Justin E. and Brandon D. Miller, both of Maurertown, VA., a sister, Rosemary Gama of Warren and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and a great great nephew. In addition to her first husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lorraine D. Hunt. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 10:30 AM in the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol. Visitation will take place before the service from 9:00-10:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut Street, Bristol. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 169 George Street, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
