Justina J. Cordero

Justina J. (Jimeno) Cordero, 80, of Bristol passed away peacefully on Wednesday December 8, 2021. She was the wife of the late Eugene C. Cordero, III. Born in Ilocos Norte, Philippines, Justina was the daughter of the late Filomeno and Matilde (Albano) Jimeno. She was the eldest of 6 children. After earning her nursing degree, Justina moved to Canada and then to the United States. She married Eugene on October 18, 1975 and raised their family in Rochester Hills, Michigan. After retirement, they briefly lived in Los Vegas, Nevada before moving to Bristol, Rhode Island. Justina was an ICU nurse for many years at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan. She loved to cook, host gatherings and read. She enjoyed traveling the world on cruises with her beloved Eugene. Justina was a devoted wife, loving mother, loyal friend and adoring grandmother. Justina leaves behind her children: Jenny C. Williford and Eugene J. Cordero, IV. (Patricia); her grandchildren: Kai J. Williford, Ellie M. Williford, Eugene Q. Cordero, V., Alice Cordero; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. In death she is reunited with her beloved husband, her parents and many family members and friends. Memorial services will take place at a later date.
