June A. (Montaro) Tattrie, 72, of Bristol passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice With family by her side on Thursday November 18, 2021. She was the wife of the late William R. Tattrie for 40 years until his passing in 2008. A lifelong Bristolian, she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Dorothy (Camara) Montaro. June was a graduate of Colt Memorial High school, class of 1966. She worked as a Medical Secretary for many years at the Rhode Island Veterans Home in Bristol. She enjoyed traveling with her husband before his passing. Her generosity and infectious smile touched everyone that knew her. She loved all animals, was an avid reader, and elevated shopping to the level of an Olympic sport. She especially loved spending time with her family. June is survived by her son: William R. Tattrie, Jr. (Elizabeth); her grandchildren: Megan Cabral (John), Colin Tattrie, Nathan Tattrie; her siblings: Diane Mederos (Anthony), Lucien Montaro (Charles Alexandre) and her beloved dog Daisy. Visitation will be at Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol on Monday November 29, 2021 from 8:30-9:30 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday November 29, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Marys Church, 330 Wood Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol.
