June Santos

Mrs. June (Lake) Santos, age 63, of 15 Coggeshall Avenue, Bristol, died Friday, January 16, 2009 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Abel G. Santos, Jr., her husband of 47 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Waldo and Margaret (Travers) Lake. She was a resident of Bristol for most of her life. She was educated in the Bristol Schools and was a waitress for many years at the former Squires Restaurant, formerly in Barrington. June loved crafts, cooking, camping and was devoted to her loving family. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Paul Santos and his wife, Diane of Bristol, Rodney Santos and his wife, OKay of Tiverton, six grandchildren, Jason , Chrystal, Brandon, Athena, Kaytlyn and Avalon Santos and a great grandson, Zachary Santos, a brother, Robert Lake and a sister, Janet Lake, both of Bristol. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Sheldon Lake. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday, January 21, 2009 at 9:00 AM with a graveside service at 10:00 AM in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours, Monday, January 19, from 4:00-8:00 PM. Kindly omit flowers.
