Joseph A. Sansone

Mr. Joseph A. Sansone, age 61, of Lincoln and formerly of Bristol, died Thursday, July 27, 2006. A Bristol native, he was a son of Phyllis M. (Ucci) Sansone of Lincoln and the late Joseph Sansone. Mr. Sansone received his B.S. degree in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA and his M.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. He was a Principal Engineer for the Raytheon Corporation in Portsmouth, RI for 33 years, retiring in 2002. He was an Eagle Scout. He is survived in addition to his mother, by a brother, Peter F. Sansone, M.D. of Lehigh, FL, a sister, Matilda Sansone, of Lincoln and his fiancee, Lissa D. Dreyer, of Cranston. Relatives and Friends are invited to attend a funeral service, Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 12:00 Noon in the Chapel of Swan Point Cememtery, Blackstone Blvd., Providence. Burial will be private. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Rogers Free Library, 525 Hope Street, P.O. Box 538, Bristol, Rhode Island 02809. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
