Joseph Michael Pagano

Joseph M. Pagano, 93, passed away peacefully at Newport Hospital on Monday January 11, 2021. Born in Providence, RI, he was the son of the late Angelina (Cariglia) and the late Michael Pagano. Joe was a Colt High School Alumni, class of 1945. After high school Joe went on to earn his Bachelors degree in Chemistry from MIT in 1951 and his Masters degree from Boston College in 1955. After completing his education, Joe went on to be a professor at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts for 38 years before his retirement in 1997. Joe leaves behind many friends and touched the lives of many of his students, his memory will live on through them. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM on Tuesday January 19, 2021 inside Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol.
