Joseph M. Machado

Mr. Joseph M. Machado, age 45 of 34 Michael Dr, Bristol, died Tuesday, June 24, 2008 athis home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Antonietta (Aloi) Machado, his wife of 18 years. Born in Sao Miguel, Azores, he wasa son of Maria (Medeiros) Machado of Bristol and the late Jose Machado. Joseph was a Supervisor in the Maintenance Department for the Bristol-Warren Regional Schools at Mt. Hope High School for 5 years; he also was a construction worker and also worked for the MF Foley Fish Co. in New Bedford and Boston. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children, Christopher and Gabrielle Machado of Bristol, a brother Fernando Machado of Rehoboth, MA, five sisters; Maria Raposa of Warren, Dora Leal of Bristol, Victoria Hancock of Raynham, MA Paula Machado of Bristol and Lisa Machado of Providence. Also survived by eleven nieces and nephews. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Saturday, June 28, 2008at 9:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State Street, Bristol. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Friday, June 27, 2008 from4:00-8:00 PM.
