John William Bruno

John W. Bruno, 82, of Bristol passed away peacefully in Bristol on August 3, 2021. He was the husband of the late Mary Ann (Comazzi) Bruno. Born in New York, NY, he was the son of the late Anthony and Helen (Sokozovic) Bruno. John was the Queens, NY Gold Glove Boxing Champion in 1957. He was an avid Elvis fan. John also loved spending time with his friends especially backyard activities. John is survived by his sister Laura Ferrauanti (Joseph). He also leaves behind his close friend Karen Alegria Cook and her daughters Katarina and Meghan. In death John is reunited with his beloved Mary Ann and his parents.
