James Anthony Vaillancourt

Mr. James A. Vaillancourt, age 38 of 33 Moorefield Street, Providence, died unexpectedly, Sunday, December 31, at his home.He was the spouse of Tait K. Znuj. Born in Assonet, MA he was the son of Janice (Kaminski) Vaillancourt of Providence. A resident of Providence for the past 9 years, he was raised in and a former resident of Fall River for many years. Mr. Vaillancourt was a Floral Designer for Imondi Florist in Pawtucket for a year, retiring due to illness in 2003. He had previously worked for a number of years for Rays Flower Shop in Fall River. Jimmy loved spending time with family and friends and especially with his beloved dog, Bufus. Jim was a tremendous artist, loved gardening, cooking and interior decorating. In addition to his spouse and mother, he is survived by two sisters, Lisa Crisson of Virginia Beach, VA and Wendy Hendrix of Avenue, MD, four nephews, Dustin Hendrix, Teddy, Zack and Hunter Znuj and two nieces, Larissa Carmine and Stephanie Znuj. He was also survived by a Godson, Jacob Hirsh. A memorial gathering in celebration of his life will take place in Spring. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Sansone Funeral Home, Bristol.
