James G. White

Mr. James G. 'Seamus' White, Sr. age 81, of 9 Ridgeway Drive, Warren, died Saturday, April 04, 2009 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Patricia (Kearney) White, his wife of 55 years. Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland. he moved to Warren more than 40 years ago from Ireland. He was the son of the late John and Catherine (Dunlop) White. Mr. White was the former owner of Emerald Auto in Bristol for many years. He was a communicant of St. Mary of the Bay Church, Warren. In addition tohis wife, he is survived by three sons, Anthony White and his wife, Frances of Somers, CT, Brian White of Bristol and Colin White of Kernersville, NC, a daughter-in-law, Victoria White of Bristol, eight grandchildren and one great granddaughter. In addition tohis parents, he was preceded in death by ason, James G. White, Jr. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood Street, Bristol, Tuesday at 10:00 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Mary of the Bay Church, Main Street, Warren. Burial will follow in North Burial Ground, Hope Street, Bristol. Visiting hours Monday, 4:00-7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to VNS Hospice of Bristol and Newport Counties, 1184 East Main Road, Portsmouth, RI 02871.
