Irene L. Deluca

Mrs. Irene L. (Lucchesi) DeLuca, age 87, of 6 Chilton Street, Bristol, died Monday, May 21, 2007 at St. Elizabeths Manor, Bristol. She was the wife of Jerry E. DeLuca, her husband of 64 years. Born in Fall River, MA and a resident of Bristol for 61 years, she was a daughter of the late Adriano and Melvina (LaRue) Lucchesi. A homemaker, she was a devoted and loving, wife, mother and grandmother. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Bristol. She is survived in addition to her husband, by a daughter, Joyce T. McKale and her husband, Thomas of Barrington, two grandchildren, Meghann K. McKale of New York City and Ryan T. McKale of Barrington. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Adrian and Leo Lucchesi and a sister, Jeanette Chagnon. Funeral services from the Sansone Funeral Home, 192 Wood St., Bristol, Friday, May 25, 2007 at 10 AM with a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., Bristol. Burial will follow in St. Marys Cemetery, Chestnut St., Bristol. Visitation will be Friday Morning 10-11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, New York City Chapter, 360 Lexington Ave.,4th Floor, New York, NY 10017, or to St. Elizabeths Manor Patient Activity Fund, 1 Dawn Hill Road or to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 141 State St., both Bristol, RI 02809.
